Changing your conversation
As part of my daily job I often spend multiple hours a day listening to leaders speak about our business performance and how we are doing. Often in the middle of these calls I pick up on one phrase that just sticks with me. This happened last week when I was sitting in a phone call listening to my Vice President of Learning and Development. His simple statement was "change your conversation". That's it. Simply change your conversation. So what would happen if you just changed your conversation? What would happen if you changed your conversations with your children from "don't do that" to "do this"? What would happen if you changed your conversation with your spouse from "you didn't" to "you do"? What about our conversation with God from "please give me" to "I give you praise"? How about our conversation with ourselves?
